Horsemanship Connection & Development Weekend

 Sat 30 – Sun 31 March 2019

Join us for a weekend of horsemanship learning, confidence building and connecting with like-minded people. We strive to provide a supportive environment where everyone walks away with new insights, awareness and motivation.

We have limited ridden places to 6 people to ensure plenty of one on one time with students, so book in early if you would like to join us.

The weekend begins on Saturday morning with inspired goal setting and confidence boosting followed by an individual lesson for each participant. After lunch the focus shifts to groundwork and in-hand work for correct biomechanics, problem solving and developing softness. Drinks and nibbles will be followed by dinner at a delicious local restaurant. On Sunday the focus will be on developing lightness and softness under saddle and working on individual goals.

The weekend is suitable for all levels of riders and horses. You are also welcome if you don’t want to ride but concentrate on groundwork and work in-hand.

Contact us if you would like to discuss your individual needs.

What some of our previous participants had to say about the weekend:

“Thanks very much Andrew and Maike for a great weekend. Learned a lot I needed to know right now!! Met some lovely new people and caught up with some (very) old friends who I love very much. Fantastic dinner at Cherith Grove. Wonderful accommodation at Cathy and Bruce ‘s place just across the road. And Rocky was awesome .”

“Andrew & Maike, this was an awesome weekend. It was soooo good, I’d forgotten how much fun these clinics are.😀 I’ve been reminded of so many things that I’d parked up in the attic of the memory bank and learnt heaps of new techniques. 😉 cannot wait to get home and exercising all what both Mavy and I have achieved. I have a wonderful horse, both he and I learnt things about himself so that was a good thing to boot.
Thank you!
To the ladies I met, I’m quite sure our paths will cross again which I’m looking forward to. 😃
Happy trails XX”

I appreciate the time and effort the Turnbulls have put in to creating a top notch clinic venue in the midst of a welcoming home environment nestled in beautiful bush county.

I have attended several clinics organised and hosted my AMT, and every year the facilities and amenities just keep getting better - there are few venues left where you can safely camp and yard your horse and focus on immersing yourself fully into the clinic experience.

The provision of well respected clinicians from around the world, covering different but complementary aspects of equitation, Horsemanship and animal health is a resource rarely found in one place, let alone on the verifiable doorstep of Perth.
