Clinic Hosting

Since commencing their journey together in 2007, Andrew and Maike have ridden and trained with many horsemanship trainers and clinicians from Australia and internationally to improve their awareness and skills. In order to meet and ride with some of these great horsemen and women, AMT Equestrian began hosting clinics in Western Australia in 2010.

The clinicians that AMT Equestrian host are not discipline specific, but instead share a likeminded philosophy that is based on the relationship, empathy and long term health and soundness of the horse. The emphasis is on the journey and long term positive outcomes, not on quick-fixes.

AMT Equestrian host a number of clinics and workshops throughout the year. For upcoming clinics and workshops head over to our Calendar.

Facilities at AMT

We hold our clinics in a variety of locations across Western Australia. However, many are held here at AMT Equestrian.

AMT Equestrian is located in the rolling hills of Gidgegannup, 40km northeast of Perth.

AMT Equestrian boasts a large 40 x 80m fully fenced, floodlit arena, perfect for holding clinics with a number of riders.

Also on the property is a 20 metre round yard with a viewing platform, plenty of yards to safely house your horses overnight, and room to camp where clinics are held over multiple days.

Where clinics or workshops include a theory component, a large shed is available for use. We are proud of our facilities, and excited to offer them to host world-renowned clinicians.

Plenty of room for car and float parking

‘I appreciate the time and effort the Turnbulls have put in to creating a top notch clinic venue in the midst of a welcoming home environment nestled in beautiful bush county.

I have attended several clinics organised and hosted my AMT, and every year the facilities and amenities just keep getting better – there are few venues left where you can safely camp and yard your horse and focus on immersing yourself fully into the clinic experience.

The provision of well respected clinicians from around the world, covering different but complementary aspects of equitation, Horsemanship and animal health is a resource rarely found in one place, let alone on the verifiable doorstep of Perth.’
